More and more scooter companies are popping up around the world. When I got the chance to help create an app for a Norwegian scooter company, I was happy to be able to create something unique. We decided on a clean app design with subtle but clear illustrations to guide the user.

To assist first-time users and refresh the rules for everyone, a onboarding tutorial was created that explains how to unlock and use a scooter as well as the traffic rules the driver has to follow.

Splash some color on it

The illustrations are made using blue outlines and a white filling. The uniqueness of these illustrations is archived through color highlights in yellow, orange, blue and green. These highlights are color splashes that emphasize the movement of the bodies.
